Miriam Seidel's novel, The Speed of Clouds (New Door Books), takes place in the world of sci-fi fandom. She also wrote the libretto for Violet Fire, an opera about Nikola Tesla, performed in Belgrade, New York, and Philadelphia. She’s written for the Philadelphia Inquirer and other publications, and her most recent fiction is in Into the Ruins (Spring 2020).
