Carl Paolino is a veteran of the entertainment industry. As producer, director, screenwriter, and production designer, his credits include feature films, television series, music videos, Broadway shows, and television commercials. His animated productions include: MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch, and Celebrity Face-Off (FKA) The Wrong Coast. He also wrote and directed The Halloween Pranksta with co-producer Mark Hamill, of Star Wars fame. Mark also acted as a voice talent for the production. As an author, Carl’s Young Adult novels include Penny Dreadful and the Poisonberry Fortune, Penny Dreadful and the Steampunk Ziggurat, and The Secret of the Cybersapiens. The first book of his horror novel series is titled, Virgin Falls: Worst Vacation Ever, the additional series titles are, Virgin Falls: The Return of the Woodsman, and Virgin Falls: Constantine the Great. Carl is also an adjunct professor at School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, teaching Stop-Motion Animation, in the Animation Department, Makeup FX in the Film Department, and Body Casting as an Art Form in the Fine Arts Department. He has BFA degree from School of Visual Arts.
