Join us for an exhibit and discussion of Victorian-era dress and entertainments, with authentic antique garments, millinery and accessories, personal autograph albums, stereopticons and photographic stereovision cards to view! Miss Lizzy's is a non-profit Special Interest Group of the International Costumer's Guild whose mission is to preserve and research fashion and domestic life of the Victorian era through WWI. Workshop: Beaded Cabochons - $10 fee [90 minutes]
A beading workshop that teaches the technique of attaching a flat-back cabochon to fabric by beading around it with peyote beading. It's helpful to have a little sewing experience, but beginners also welcome. The kit has everything you need: beads, thread, choice of cabochons, needles and fabric.
